Uncharted Season 3 Updates: Gordon Ramsay is back on our screen this week and enters the third season of “Uncharted”, “Mixed Travel and Cooking.” There, the beloved chef travels to remote corners of the world to learn new traditions, cultures, and of course cuisines, and eventually compete with local experts in a culinary competition composed of demanding and hungry locals.
The show opened in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, bringing audiences a slightly different side from the notorious chef tyrant. We are used to seeing Ramsey in Hell’s Kitchen intimidating his own restaurant employees and harassing restaurant owners who fail in kitchen nightmares. However, in “Uncharted”, Ramsey is often in a terrible situation. In the past few seasons, the chef has participated in bullfighting competitions in Indonesia, piranha fishing in Guyana, and rafting on the Mekong River.
The new season promises to show Ramsay cruising Puerto Rican waterfalls in search of delicious freshwater shrimp, hunting rattlesnakes in the Texas wilderness, and diving for clams in Maine waters.

IndieWireAccording to Ramsey, finding shellfish in Portugal seemed to be the most difficult for him in the latest series, even though he forced him to walk on the rocks in the Atlantic waves in search of clams, small but delicious clams. “No cables, no seat belts, only me, the sea, and some very dangerous rock formations,” the ruthless chef admitted.
“This is one of the most dangerous things I did in Uncharted, and one of the easiest ingredients to make.”
It’s great to see Ramsey, usually, the almighty lord of his own territory, looks so vulnerable, although we want to know how his family views this humiliation of their powerful patriarch. Ramsey admits “I will try to keep secrets until I finish. Except for my son Jack. He is a Marine, so this old man has to keep up with him somehow.”
Like many parts of the world, Ramsey has been imprisoned because of the pandemic for most of the past year. “Until the first month, before I became the daily breakfast chef, it was very interesting.”
He admitted that despite the challenges of a safe Covid scene, when he was finally able to film Uncharted, he was anxious to leave the house, and hope that viewers who are eager to travel can appreciate it, similarly.
