Iron Man
Even after becoming a fan favorite, his only weakness is that he is too smart and wealthy, which do not mix well.
Initially, he was characterized as cocky and full of himself, but his character developed throughout his time in the MCU.
The sole explanation for why we put Iron Man in fifth place is his vulnerability. Iron Man is unquestionably one of the most powerful Avengers, but only if his Arc Reactor is not destroyed.
In Iron Man 2, we saw his near-death experience due to his Arc Reactor. He is also an outstanding human being, yet while being one of the strongest, Iron Man’s only vulnerability pushes him to fifth place.
Captain America
Steve Rogers often saw being bullied in the streets of New York, refusing to go away because he could “take it all day.” After joining the US Army, he got a shot with the Super Soldier Serum, which improved his physical powers and transformed him into Captain America.
Steve Rogers is one of the most powerful Avengers in our rankings. Despite his immense strength and ability to stand toe toe-to-toe with Thanos, he is vulnerable to physical injury, as seen by his fatal wounds in the movies.
Furthermore, his emotional & moral standing may sometimes hinder making practical judgments, as we saw in Captain America: Civil War, placing him in the top five.
Captain Marvel
Carol Denver, also known as Captain Marvel, possesses cosmic powers and is one of the most powerful Avengers.
She gained her powers from the explosion of a Tesseract-based engine and has become a fan favorite since she appeared in her standalone movie.
Despite being one of Marvel’s physically powerful superheroes, Carol Danvers has an issue of mental strength.
Captain Marvel is very susceptible to brainwashing, mind control, and even possession, leaving her vulnerable in the presence of anybody capable of entering someone’s mind. This weakness places her third on the list of the most powerful Avengers.
Mighty Thor
Our Mighty Thor ranks third among the most powerful Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thor is among these superheroes who have constantly lost everything he loves or cares about.
He could have followed Wanda’s or Loki’s lead with his powers, but he decided to stay on a straight path and stay strong. As an outcome, he showed far stronger character strength than most of our powerful Avengers.
Aside from his character, we’ve seen how powerful he is in the fight, with or without the Mjölnir or Stormbreaker.
He has all the characteristics of an exceptional superhero. Thor possesses strength of character, physical strength, and supernatural strength.
Scarlet Witch
Scarlet Witch has consistently been the Avenger with the greatest untapped potential. She shattered an Infinity Stone during Infinity War while still holding Thanos back with her other hand. She was also within minutes away from killing Thanos in Endgame, compelling him to focus all of his ship’s weaponry on her.
That was enough to rank her at the top, but Wanda Maximoff, often known as Scarlet Witch, is now the officially most powerful Avenger. That was shown in WandaVision, where she delved deeper into her skills, taking over an entire town and essentially bringing Vision back again in some shape or another.
Her chaotic magic transformed her into the Scarlet Witch, and her power threshold is no longer a question.
