Recap Of Episode 5 Of The Witch And The Beast
At the beginning of The Witch and the Beast episode 5, there’s a quick reminder of what happened before. Then, it takes us back to the past where we see a necromancer and his wife who died tragically. The necromancer desperately wants to bring his wife back to life.
Fast forward to the present, Phanora Kristoffel and a police officer are called to the mastermind’s mansion. They talk to the necromancer, who admits to turning dead people into undead creatures against a forbidden rule. He did this because he wanted his wife back, and thought he could use Phanora’s beauty to achieve it.
But Phanora reveals she’s not just a necromancer, she’s also a witch. She commands her powerful undead army to defeat the necromancer’s weaker minions. The necromancer realizes he’s in trouble and tries to escape, only to discover that Johan, whom he thought was dead, is undead with even greater powers.
Instead of killing the necromancer outright, Johan tortures him until Phanora arrives. Phanora then turns the necromancer into an undead creature as punishment, which is worse than death.
She also promises to bring back the police officer’s dead wife, making him feel both happy and sad. The episode ends with Phanora punishing the necromancer further for what he did to Johan.
