GHOSTBUSTER: FROZEN EMPIRE Official Trailer Released!

Sony has released a scary new trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the sequel to 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which established an era of proton pack-wielding heroes on the big screen.

The rookies must now face a more powerful supernatural enemy than ever, capable of throwing the Earth into a second Ice Age and destroying civilization. The new trailer provides another look at the ghouls that the Spengler family will encounter, but they will not be fighting alone.

New York City looks extremely chilling in the recently released “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” trailer.

The trailer for Frozen Empire reveals the classic team reuniting, their proton packs renewed with decades of expertise. A new ancient item unleashes a fearsome enemy, forcing them to pair up with a new group of phantom warriors. You’ll also catch a peek at Slimer’s cheeky look, which adds to the excitement of this incredible reunion.

The teaser also suggests that Ghostbusters as an organization may be at risk of being forced to close down.

However, it seems that by fighting the Death Chill, the team will be able to show how crucial they are in safeguarding New York, even today. This includes newcomers Phoebe & Trevor Spengler, who will undoubtedly continue to carry on their grandpa Egon’s roots.

We also get a glimpse of Walter Peck, who used to work for the authorities and was a nightmare for the Ghostbusters. William Atherton performed the character in Ghostbusters’ debut feature, released in 1984.

He’s returning to set up difficulties again, but the Ghostbusters will not allow him to stop them. They are ready to use their proton packs to blast ghosts and protect New York from a supernatural invasion.

The movie also teases several ghosts—some terrifying, some new, and others familiar, such as Slimer and the creepy library ghost. There is even a large, horned creature and a dragon dwelling in the sewers.

To eliminate these ghosts, the Ghostbusters board their popular car, the Ectomobile, and drive around the city. This is going to be a crazy ride!

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire reunites all of the essential Afterlife actors, including Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, & Mckenna Grace. We’ll additionally see Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson return in jumpsuits. Annie Potts & William Atherton will reprise their roles as Janine and Walter Peck in the 1980s classic.

A new film does, however, include some fresh faces, including Kumail Nanjiani and Patton Oswalt, in addition to James Acaster as an Egon Spengler-like innovator and Emily Alyn Lind in an unknown part.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is scheduled to hit theaters on March 22, 2024.
