‘Irish Wish’ Lindsay Lohan Netflix Movie: Release Date, Cast, Plot, And More!

Lindsay Lohan, who has returned to the spotlight, is set to dazzle viewers with her latest Netflix romantic comedy, Irish Wish. Lohan, of Irish American descent and best known for her appearances in The Parent Trap and Mean Girls, will star as Maddie, a woman who wishes for love and changes her life in unexpected ways.

When Will Irish Wish Be Released?

Early Tweets from those involved in the project claimed that Irish Wish would get released on Netflix in 2023, but it soon became evident that it would be delayed until 2024. It is now confirmed that Irish Wish will be available on Netflix globally on March 15, 2024.

The Cast and Crew of the Movie.

Lindsay Lohan stars as Maddie, a jaded bridesmaid looking for true love. Alongside Lohan, the movie includes a star-studded cast. Downton Abbey‘s Ed Speleers will play James Thomas, and Welsh star Alexander Vlahos will play Paul Kennedy. Vlahos is also noted for his work on Outlander and older programs such as Merlin & Versailles.

Ayesha Curry, author, and wife of NBA player Stephen Curry, will play Heather in one of her first major cinematic roles. Elizabeth Tan, widely known for her roles in Emily in Paris & Death in Paradise, and legendary English actor Jane Seymour, adds to the cast.

Janeen Damian is the project’s director and previously worked on Netflix’s upcoming Falling for Christmas.

Damian also directed High Strung Free Dance. Kirsten Hansen wrote the script, and she is most recognized for her work on films such as Chesapeake Shores, Cross Country Christmas, & Christmas on My Mind. Netflix, Motion Picture Corporation of America, Wild Atlantic Pictures, and Riviera Films are producing Irish Wish. Galen Fletcher is the show’s producer.

What Is the Plot of the Irish Wish?

Lohan plays a woman who must watch her best friend marry the love of her life in Irish Wish. Rather than preserving her mental health, Lohan’s character accepts to be a bridesmaid at the wedding, which takes her to Ireland.

However, the day before the wedding, Lohan casts a wish for true love and wakes up the following day as a bride-to-be. Her wishes, however, backfire when she realizes she is not engaged to the man she wants.

While she is initially unhappy, Lohan’s character quickly realizes that her soulmate is not who she thought he was. Nonetheless, if she survives the chaos, she may find true love.
