Lift | Official Final Trailer

‘Lift’ promises a high-stakes heist to steal $500 million in gold in mid-flight.

In Lift, Kevin Hart leads his gang on a daring heist. Netflix posted the latest teaser for Lift on YouTube with the caption, “The New Year lifts off January 12 with Kevin Hart and his team planning a heist such as no other – at 40,000 ft, exclusively on Netflix.”

Aside from the thrilling flying sequences, the trailer depicts Kevin Hart’s character, Cyrus Whitaker, taking his crew across Europe, including Italy, and training them to successfully ‘lift’ off the passenger plane.

Lift seems to follow a skilled thief lured by his ex-girlfriend, an FBI agent, to pull off an impossible heist on board an airplane flying from London to Zurich.

Netflix’s official summary reads:

In the new film from director F. Gary Gray ( Straight Outta Compton, Friday, Set It Off, The Italian Job, The Fate of the Furious), a group of skilled criminals led by Cyrus Whitaker (Kevin Hart) are selected to do what they do best: lift $500 million in gold from a passenger plane while in mid-flight at 40,000 feet!
