Liam Hemsworth and Russell Crowe Starrer Land of Bad Trailer Released!

The upcoming action movie Land of Bad stars a star-studded ensemble led by Russell Crowe, and there are some more details about the movie.

Land of Bad, the next film from genre auteur filmmaker William Eubank, portrays an elite extraction team that must invade inside enemy lines to save top-secret equipment and hostages. The film promises to be a thrilling action adventure.

Trailer for ‘Land Of Bad,’ a Special Forces thriller starring Russell Crowe & Liam Hemsworth.

As the trailer opens, a US Army Delta Force squad is sent to the Philippines to rescue a CIA asset captured by terrorists. The mission soon goes wrong, and one of the team members, rookie officer Kinney (Liam Hemsworth), fights for himself.

On a 48-hour walk across dangerous terrain, his only hope for life and that of the others is drone operator Reaper (Crowe), who works as his eyes and ears. Kinney must face the dangers of the forest and an army of skilled killers, all while Reaper faces to keep him alive.

The plot of Land of Bad revolves around a behind-the-enemy-lines mission with huge stakes and nonstop action.

The trailer is full of bravado, gunfire, and brutal fights, promising an adrenaline rush with Hemsworth donning the spec ops hero look. This one ticks all the boxes for military action fans looking for badass black ops thrills.

While much is unknown about Land of Bad, something that has been obvious since the film’s announcement is its outstanding cast. When word of the movie came out in 2022, Academy Award winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator) had already been attached, and he features as Reaper, a drone operator who monitors the extraction.

Another big name associated with the project from the start was Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games), who plays Kinney, a young JTAC officer who unintentionally joins the extraction operation.

Milo Ventimiglia, well known for his roles in rom-coms such as The Company You Keep, takes a risk as Captain Sugar.

Luke Hemsworth (Westworld) and rugby sensation George Burgess co-star in the movie as Sergeant Abel and Private Cooper, respectively. In addition, Robert Rabiah (Neighbours) plays the villainous rebel commander Saeed Hashimi, while  Daniel MacPherson (Foundation), Ricky Whittle (American Gods),& Chika Ikogwe (Heartbreak High) round out the cast.

While many character roles are unknown, an action classic like Land of Bad will undoubtedly require a large cast of soldiers, rebels, and other fighters to flesh out the spectacular action sequences promised by the movie.

Land of Bad will hit theatres on February 16, 2024. It will run 110 minutes and is rated R for brutality and profanity; The Avenue will distribute it.
