Emma Stone revealed that the role of Bella Baxter is one of the characters she never played before, this time she has learned something new, she says Bella is a very high spirit person with the gaze of light in her eyes, a woman who is brought back in time with someone else’s brain, therefore, leading to no memories of her own, now everyone in the world full is stranger to her, she is experiencing new things and eager to learn more with different perspectives as well.
Such a unique character of Bella Baxter made Stone explore a wide range of emotions and various kinds of experiences, that Bella came across. Bella is a fierce woman who is independent and strong as well but has lots of questions about the society in which she lives now.

The film “Poor Things” is directed by one of the most well-known directors Yorgos Lanthimos, who is topically known for his dark humorous directions. Stone reveals that in the beginning she was quite hesitant for the role as she was unsure that she would be able to grasp her director’s vision but later she came to discover that his proposals led to something truly liberating impacts.
She said that Yorgos is a master in his field of direction, he knows whom to push and how much to push someone, he encourages your limits to every extent and makes you take up risks for the character.
