Masters of the Air Official Trailer Released By Apple TV!

In Apple TV+ and Steven Spielberg’s Masters of the Air, Austin Butler will go on an exciting journey through the skies of World War II. Masters of the Air is poised to depict the extraordinary true story of the United States Eight Air Force.

More precisely, the series will chronicle the fantastic story of the courageous young pilots who risked their lives to fight the German army in the sky.

The latest trailer for Masters of the Air previews the WWII drama and emphasizes devastating bombing scenes. The trailer includes moments of brutal warfare and the characters’ complications.

The show delves into the mental and emotional struggles these young men had while serving a critical role in the fall of Hitler’s Third Reich.

It follows the members of the 100th Bomb Group, often known as the “Bloody Hundredth,” as they carry out deadly bombing attacks over Nazi Germany.

They also have to deal with chilly temperatures, a shortage of oxygen, and the dread of what they’re doing 25,000 feet in the air. Some were caught or shot down, many were wounded or killed, and only a handful were able to return home. Regardless of their different destinies, they all paid a high price.

As exciting as the action scenes are, they aren’t the only emphasis of what will undoubtedly become one of the finest Apple TV Plus series. It aims to highlight the psychological and emotional cost these very young guys paid throughout nine episodes.

Austin Butler, who became a national name after playing in Baz Luhrmann’s Oscar-nominated movie Elvis, leads the formidable cast of Masters of the Air. Another Oscar nominee, Barry Keoghan, will appear alongside Butler in the program.

Keoghan, best known for recent movies like The Banshees of Inisherin, The Batman, & The Green Knight, has prior experience with World War II films featuring pilots, having featured in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk. Callum Turner, the star of the Fantastic Beasts franchise, has also been cast in the project.

Elliot Warren (The Batman), David Shields (The Crown), Edward Ashley (The Terror),  Nate Mann (Licorice Pizza), Anthony Boyle (Tetris), Ben Radcliffe (Pandora), Rafferty Law (Twist), and Darragh Cowley (The Essex Serpent) round out the principal cast.

Masters of the Air is set to start with two episodes on January 26, 2024, followed by fresh episodes every Friday until March 15, 2024. The considerable period piece miniseries will allegedly consist of nine episodes.
