This Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire trailer shows how much epic science fiction chaos Snyder hopes to put into just one segment of this universe. The trailer emphasizes the action and gives us a closer look at characters like Kora and Charlie Hunnam’s Kai.
The trailer opens with a solemn character moment for Kora, revealing that she was discovered in the ruins of a ship shortly before her redemption. However, a ship’s frightening arrival signals a dreadful enemy wanting “everything.”
Thus begins a war between a tranquil farming community and Admiral Atticus Noble (Ed Skrein) that involves brutal battles and high-octane action.
The first part of Rebel Moon will center on the enigmatic Kora and her journey around the universe recruiting warriors.
While major story details are being withheld, the film’s structure is quite apparent since we see the Imperium troops approaching Veldt in the trailer, and their threat is clear. Kora’s adventure in Part One will set the setting for a survival fight in the next part.
The action-packed teaser shows Kora assembling diverse characters throughout the galaxy to protect Veldt against the Imperium. Hand-to-hand fight scenes, as well as VFX-heavy shots, highlight how entertaining the film will be.
