Lift Official Trailer Released by Netflix!

Kevin Hart attempts to hijack a plane from 40,000 feet in the air in the first official Lift trailer. Lift is a forthcoming Netflix original that will debut next year.

Hart signed a contract with Netflix two years ago to create and star in 4 feature films, as well as a first-look pact for his production company, HartBeat Productions. His most recent project is quite different from previous works.

Lift | Official Trailer

The Lift trailer opens with Hart and his team in a risky situation since their evil strategies have caught up. The authorities have them cornered, yet there is a way out.

Putting $500 million in gold on a passenger plane headed for a terrorist cell will rescue them. However, to prevent a terrorist attack, the theft must occur in midair at 40,000 feet. “Just treat it like any other lift,” Hart tells his crew. That’s right. There’s no need to worry.

Hart jumps into high-octane battle sequences aboard the plane, displaying a new dimension of his acting skills while showcasing his comic talent in the action-packed teaser, a break from his regular family-oriented comedy.

Lift’s first trailer looks like a lot of fun, and the movie will be more of a severe heist/action film than a comedy.

There are some amusing moments in the trailer, but most of it revolves around the chaos that follows as Hart and his gang plot the heist.

During fight sequences on board an out-of-control jet rushing towards the ground, Hart appears like a real action hero in the trailer. The visuals are intriguing, implying that this may be a reasonably realistic theft turn.

With flashes of action, an unusual premise, outstanding acting, and light humor in the trailer, this may be a Hart film that fans should take seriously.

While much of the movie revolves around a major heist in the air, the action comedy will not take place entirely on an airplane. The trailer depicts brief trips on land and sea, but the actual action takes place while flying.

Joining Hart in this pulse-racing comedy will be Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Black Mirror), Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil: Born Again),  Burn Gorman (The Dark Knight Rises), Úrsula Corberó (Money Heist), Paul Anderson (Peaky Blinders),  Jean Reno (Mission: Impossible),  Billy Magnussen (Aladdin), Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: No Way Home), Sam Worthington (Avatar franchise), Viveik Karla (Blinded by the Light), and singer, Kim Yoon-ji.

Lift will be released on Netflix exclusively on January 12, 2024.
