Many years have passed since the first season’s events, and the mayhem that once enveloped the tenant building has now expanded into a global disaster.
The K-drama’s first season followed Hyun-soo after he lost his family and moved to a new building. The world goes insane overnight as people turn into cruel monsters depending on their inner impulses.
While the tenants struggle to stay alive, Hyun-soo fights his problems. He possesses all of their abilities while retaining his humanity. According to Netflix, Sweet Home has been renewed for a second season as well as a third.

Sweet Home Season 2 Trailer Indicates Monster Apocalypse’s Devastating Scope.
Sweet Home’s glorious return has been revealed in a brand-new season 2 teaser. The South Korean drama, starring Song Kang as troubled high school student Cha Hyun-soo, is based on Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan’s webtoon of the same name.
It follows Cha Hyun-soo as he transfers to a new apartment building only to discover that it is overrun with monsters amid an apocalyptic scenario.
The trailer hints at how certain characters have crossed the boundary between humans & monsters by the end of Season 1. It also explains how the upcoming season will greatly expand the program’s scope as monsters take over the entire earth.
The K-drama concluded with the government showing there, seizing the tenants and surrounding Hyun-soo. But Sweet Home finished on a cliffhanger when it was discovered that Ui-myeong had used his powers to transform into Pyeon Sang-Wook (Lee Jin-uk).
He had taken over the military vehicle carrying Hyun-soo. Fans of the original webtoon will recognize the cliffhanger ending in a new way.
The first official Sweet Home Season 2 teaser showed Hyun-soo alive and being transferred to a secret government facility. An ominous voice asks if he will be the one to save them all.
Hyun-soo swears to do all it takes to avoid being showered in blood. Meanwhile, scenes depict the remaining characters attempting to live as the planet devolves deeper into chaos.
