A$AP Rocky Criminal Case Explained and Updates!

Rakim Mayers, aka ASAP Rocky, is currently being charged for allegedly shooting his ex-companion Relli in Hollywood, CA in November of last year.

In response, Relli has brought forth a legal claim against Rocky for distress, battery, and emotional pain, asserting that Rocky’s actions were “unconventional and appalling” and deeply affected her.

While Rocky denies all allegations, Relli’s legal team claims that Rocky’s behavior was “aberrant and outrageous” and greatly harmed their client. Relli is now seeking compensation for bulks of over $25,000 in punitive and general damages alongside additional medical bills.

ASAP Rocky and his colleagues were found guilty of assault with intent during a 2019 festival performance in Sweden. Rocky extended his gratitude to his fans, friends, and supporters on Instagram when his conviction was announced six weeks after his arrest.

Following their high-profile preliminary hearing in a DTLA courthouse, Rocky and Rihanna have been spotted in public, both in West Hollywood and elsewhere in the city.

Rocky appeared neutral on Thursday and vibrant on Saturday. He had a late-night studio session in WeHo, while Rihanna headed to her favorite restaurant, Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.

Rocky’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, grilled Relli on the cross, but his client is scheduled back in court later this month to determine if the case will go to a jury trial.

In a Los Angeles courtroom, a video supposedly depicting rapper A$AP Rocky firing a gun at his old friend A$AP Relli on a Hollywood street corner two years ago was released to the public for the first time.

Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, watched the video at his probable cause hearing, which will determine whether prosecutors have enough evidence to charge him with assault with a handgun that is semi-automatic on two counts.

In the case against, he maintains that he is innocent and denies claims that he shot Relli, insisting that he was the one who was extorted.

Although Relli, whose real name is Terell Ephron, testified regarding the video’s significance, he alleges that Mayers did not follow through with his commitment to pay for their friend’s funeral and that Relli was the target of an armed ambush.
