Marvel’s Echo Trailer Teases the MCU’s Bloodiest Feature Yet.

The first trailer for Marvel Studios’ new Disney+ series Echo has been released. The drama, which stars Alaqua Cox again, follows her character Maya Lopez, a deaf hero coping with the burden of being the niece of the New York underworld’s Kingpin of Crime, Wilson Fisk.

Echo | Official Trailer

The introduction of Echo and Kingpin’s complicated history was an essential element in Hawkeye season 1, as it revealed that Wilson Fisk became her adopted father.

While Hawkeye just skimmed off the top, the Echo trailer places her and Kingpin at the heart of the MCU story.

The Echo trailer not only shows flashbacks to her childhood as Kingpin became more prominent in her life, but it also shows Wilson after she nearly killed him in the Hawkeye season 1 finale.

There are plenty of moments in the Echo teaser when Kingpin exhibits his brutal side, much to what audiences witnessed in Netflix‘s Daredevil TV program.

Although unclear, the Echo film also provides an early glimpse at Charlie Cox‘s Daredevil since it shows her fighting with someone wearing a dark red look.

The Echo trailer also shows Maya’s homecoming, embracing her Native American culture, a concept the MCU hasn’t explored much in past projects.

Echo season 1 will undoubtedly be an intriguing journey based entirely on the new trailer, especially given that she is one of the most obscure Marvel characters to be allowed to headline her TV show.
