Another adaptation of the webtoon ‘The Moon That Rises in the Day’, is coming to Netflix as a K-Drama and we’re loving it!
Moon in the Day is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original romance with a tint of fantasy-drama added to the plot. The series is directed by Pyo Min Soo and it’s scheduled to release as a weekly K-Drama series starting from November 2023.
Starring Taxi Driver’s Pyo Je Yin and the ‘Forbidden Marriage’s Kim Young Dae, this romantic fantasy K-Drama has all the right tones hitting the right spots. Read on to find out more!
What Is the Plot of the Moon in the Day?
The summary of The Moon in the Day is pretty simple – it revolves around a man whose time has stopped and a woman who flows like a river. That sounds rather vague, doesn’t it?
However, although the basic gist is simple and short, it’s much more complicated and sophisticated than it sounds. It’s not a simple love story, but a romance thriller, a complicated affair but it is love nonetheless. This story touches on the pain of a perpetual strife of life that comes and goes, but is never stable – it is static in every aspect.

Who Are the Cast Members of the Series?
Pyo Ye Jin will be playing the lead role of Kang Young Hwa – making this her second Netflix Original series. She has however worked in several other K-Drams like V.I.P, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, and Taxi Driver on Netflix.
Kim Young Dae will play the lead role of Do Ha, marking his debut in a Netflix Original. His other works include K-Dramas, The Forbidden Marriage, and Shooting Stars.
Ohn Joo Won will play the lead role of Han Min Oh, and this again just like his co-star, Pyo Ye Jin, will be his first Netflix Original. The actor is well known for his previous works in dramas like Beautiful Gong Shim, and the Village: Achiara’s Secret.

Release Date
With a total of 14 episodes, Moon in the day’s release date has been listed as November 1st, 2023 whilst the finale will be on December 14th, 2023. The series is scheduled to be available only on Wednesdays and Thursdays for a total of seven weeks.
