Rife, who recently saw his career take off on TikTok, leaves no topic untouched in the special, from the crystals to social media trolls, and no audience member unaffected.
Following sold-out tours worldwide, Rife is now preparing to entertain viewers on Netflix with his uncensored take on everything. He doesn’t hold back in the teaser, so watch it with the headphones on.
This special offers to be a laugh-out-loud treat for everyone, including grandmas. The comedy special episode was recorded on September 22 and 23 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. as part of Rife’s ProbleMattic World Tour. It will be an hour long, so sit down and watch it all at once for the best experience.
Rife spoke with Deadline about Matt Rife: Natural Selection and revealed what fans can expect.
“The first half is so silly and insane and fun, and the second part is some stuff I got to put some thought into, which, if you’ve seen either of my previous specials, I sort of like to end the last of it with something that viewers can think about, put some thought back, and give some real opinion on something I genuinely am dedicated to, while also making it funny with a fun story.” It’s my most enjoyable hour yet. I believe it will be well received. There’s something for everyone in there.”

When Will Matt Rife: Natural Selection Be Released on Netflix?
Mark your calendar and set your alarm for Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET, when the comedy special will premiere on Netflix.

Who is Matt Rife?
Here is a quick rundown of Matt Rife’s background. He’s a 28-year-old Ohio comedian and actor. He gained fame for appearing in 16 episodes (four seasons) of the improv game show Wild ‘n Out. Only Fans, Matthew Steven Rife, and Walking Red Flag are three comedy specials he self-produced.
He has appeared in television shows such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Fresh Off the Boat. He also appeared on the MTV reality show The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars. He’s ready for his Netflix comedy special release, and we can’t wait to see it!
