Kevin Hart and Chris Rock collaborate in a behind-the-scenes Netflix documentary, providing an exclusive peek into their life and friendship as comedy icons while on tour. Longtime close companions have already collaborated on stage and film a few times.

The new documentary teaser takes viewers behind the curtains of their Only Headliners Allowed tour, featuring five sold-out gigs in New York City this past July. In a candid video, the two comedians explore their backgrounds, brutal rise to the top, and unbreakable connection.
The documentary’s one-minute teaser trailer opens with Kevin Hart stating, “This is a story about two different journeys [that] somehow connect and end up at a single intersection at the top.” Later in the clip, Kevin tells Chris Rock, “I’m thrilled about this week not solely due to the arena factor… “referring to the large venues they’ll be appearing in, but also because he wants to hang out with Chris.
Hart and Rock have scheduled a combined tour for March 2022. They’d been friends and mentors for 20 years, but this was their first time co-headlining a gig. They saw this tour as an essential point in comic history.
This tour was full of unexpected events, from a surprise appearance by Dave Chappelle in Madison Square Garden to a humorous appearance by a legend named Will Smith on stage. This occurred only a few months after the well-known happening at the 2022 Oscars in which Will Smith struck Chris Rock.
According to the official description, “In an unparalleled documentary, Kevin Hart & Chris Rock: Headliners Only will offer audiences a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives of two comedy titans.” The synopsis reads, “This exclusive film chronicles Hart and Rock as they give first-hand stories of their early lives, challenges, triumphs, and everlasting brotherhood.”
