Netflix’s upcoming action comedy is halfway to hitting screens in November! Wingwomen is an upcoming French Netflix crime comedy film directed by Melanie Laurent.
The film was written by Cedric Anger and Christophe Deslandes whilst Jermone Mulot, Florent Ruppert, and others are listed as writers of the movie.
What Is the Movie About Wingwomen?
Alex and Carole have been friends since childhood – and now that adulthood has come to both, their friendship has taken on a whole new level. They are quite literally speaking, ‘partners in crime’.
With tons of successful heists, these two are inseparable but the Louvre museum heist involving the Grand Odalisque is a step too far for them to handle – so they do the next best thing!
They bring a bureaucrat’s son into the picture with a price on his head by a Mexican drug cartel and an arms dealer. The next person to get into the picture is Sam, a stuntman with his motorcycle and a professional boxer with a stash of tranquilizer darts.
Alex, Carole, and Sam become the ultimate heist team as they use soda can smoke bombs, rocket launchers, hang gliders, and other such booby traps in their heist action, but this ultimately creates a set of circumstances that result in a battle with the French Special Forces.
This, however, leads to their partnership to hit rock bottom. With so much drama – their partnership and possibly friendship will never be the same again.

Who Is the Cast of the Movie Wingwomen?
Melanie Laurent, most well known for her role as Shosanna in Inglorious Basterds (Quentin Tarantino), Alma Dray (Now You See Me), etc. plays the role of Carole.
Laurent is also known for her roles in Oxygen, Murder Mystery 2, Operation Finale, etc.
Adele Exarchopoulos plays the role of Alex, marking this her first in a Netflix Original movie/series. However, her previous works include her role of Adele in Blue, which is the warmest color.
Manon Bresch plays the role of Sam whilst her other works include her roles in 2 Netflix series, Mortell and Grown Ups.
