Bad Dinosaurs is one of those titles – and is the debut animated series from Snafu Pictures, a London-based animation production company.

The debut animated series Bad Dinosaurs follows the hilarious shenanigans of a Tyrannosaurs family as they struggle to deal with the difficult phases and trials of life in the prehistoric wilderness of nowhere.

Described as a ‘high-octane thrill ride’ spread across the Mesozoic period, this animated series is sure to make you feel good as the T-Rex family struggles to survive while being surrounded by other majorly incompetent dinosaurs.

An interesting fact about this series is that it is based on a phenomenally successful series of shorts that was co-created by veteran, Joel Veitch which makes ‘Bad Dinosaurs’ quite promising.

Where animation is concerned, it will be produced by Able & Baker (Love Death and Robots; Dragon Rider, etc), and will be directed by the Academy Award shortlisted and multi-award winner Simone Giampaolo.

Although there aren’t any official trailers or teasers, we do know that ‘Bad Dinosaur’ features a large pink T-Rex which is incredibly adorable. In the poster image, we see the T-Rex bending to communicate with three smaller T-Rex ‘kids’. The backdrop is simple – it’s in the middle of nowhere!

However personally, the color choice for the T-Rex is probably what strikes viewers first! It’s such an unusual color to portray a gargantuan character – but still, it fits perfectly.

The news of Netflix’s new slate of movies and series comes after a rough start to the year where Netflix Animation is concerned. This is due to the fact that we know that quite a few projects have been canceled including Maya, Kung-Fu Space Punch, etc.

We hope for the best for the other projects introduced by Netflix! We’re certainly waiting to see pink Tyrannosauruses on our screens!
