What Had Happened To Castlevania: Nocturne?

In 1783, Julia Belmont desperately sent her son, Richter, away from the dangers of the New World to France. But before he leaves, a powerful vampire named Olrox, who can transform into a dragon, attacks Julia, sparing Richter’s life but promising to find him later.

Nine years later in Western France, Richter lives with his aunt Tera, a sorcerer, and her daughter Maria, a witch. Vampires attack, hinting at a Vampire Messiah coming for Richter. Annette and Edouard from Saint-Domingue rescue them.

Annette is a powerful descendant of a god, and she and Richter investigate the sinister Marquis. Their mission goes wrong, and Edouard becomes a Night Creature.

Tera helps them infiltrate the Abbey, where they discover the Church’s dark secrets. Annette overhears plans of world domination by vampires.

Richter meets his estranged grandfather, Juste, and gains newfound strength. As Erzsebet arrives in town, Richter unlocks his magical powers. The team gets help from Olrox to defeat the Forgemaster Machine, but Mizrak arrives, revealing that the Abbot plans to sacrifice Maria to Erzsebet.
