OnePlus is known for making inexpensive smartphones, and the Nord Series has succeeded in standing out in the cutthroat market. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G has been added as a new gadget to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s Nord Series.
This year, OnePlus keeps seeing growth. The business is returning with the Nord CE 3, which sits between the superb Nord 3 and the affordable CE 3 Lite, in its midrange Nord series after introducing a flagship and a couple of smartphones in that category.
OnePlus Nord CE3 Display
The 6.7-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED display on the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G has a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 394 PPI. The display has a max brightness of 950 nits, making it quite bright.
Due to its 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, it gives good color output, and its sunlight legibility is also excellent.
Vibrant, Natural, and more screen color settings are available. Two colors—a vibrant Aqua Surge and a more subdued Grey Shimmer—are offered for the Nord CE 3.
Both devices have glossy surfaces and are comparable to the Nord 3 in terms of their flat screen, frame, and back, which makes them easy to grip.
The phone uses high-frequency dimming at 2160 Hz. The phone will automatically convert to 2160Hz PWM dimming mode to preserve true colors on display with an improved eye experience in low-light conditions (brightness below 90 nits), where DC dimming cannot function.
The phone doesn’t have a notification LED, but it does include a display that stays lit and shows notifications and context-sensitive information occasionally or continually.
There is also the option of streaming music on the always-on display. When you double-click the AOD, the music player becomes an interactive panel featuring play, pause, and progress buttons.
The Snapdragon 782G CPU, an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 778G chipset, is what powers the new OnePlus Nord CE 3. The gadget is easily capable of handling routine chores. I had little trouble multitasking without any major problems. At low settings, titles like BGMI and Genshin Impact played without any issues.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2’s battery life was very strong. With normal use, the bigger 5,000mAh battery provided more than a day’s worth of battery life. Calling, texting, and watching certain videos are all involved.
Fortunately, unlike some smartphone manufacturers, OnePlus still includes a fast charger in the box. The battery can be charged to around 95% in 30 minutes using the charger.
People can take decent photos in daylight that are suitable for social media because of the camera’s performance. Unexpectedly, the low-light performance is actually rather decent. The hues and details were effectively preserved.
