Recap Of Episode 4 Of Invasion Season 2
In the Invasion Season 2 Episode 4, which is titled ‘The Tunnel,’ we see that humanity has managed to bring down some alien ships thanks to Mitsuki Yamato’s efforts.
Meanwhile, a search party led by Montgomery, or Monty, is on its way to France, including Jamila, Alfie, Darwin, and Penny.
But they hit a roadblock at a tunnel because of military activity, which might be due to aliens attacking a previous train. The military wants to close the tunnel for good.
Jamila, Alfie, and Darwin find another way into the tunnel, while Monty stays behind initially to protect Penny but later joins them.
Inside the tunnel, they encounter soldiers and get lost but use Penny’s map to navigate. They hear strange noises and doubt their decision to continue.
In Paris, Caspar is in a coma in a special children’s hospital, and aliens attack. Back in the tunnel, the group faces dead aliens and more evolved ones with limbs.
They escape into a crashed train but reach a dead end. After that tensions rise between Monty, Alfie, and the others, especially due to Monty’s past actions. They split up to search for supplies, resources, and an escape route.

Invasion Season 2 Episode 4 Ending Explained
In the end of the episode, while stuck inside the train, Alfie and Monty have another argument, but Darwin steps in to remind them that they need to stick together to survive. Meanwhile, Jamila has a vision where she reunites with Caspar.
Later, Jamila goes for a walk and has what seems like an astral projection encounter with Caspar. He tells her that he’s trapped in a sort of in-between place, with part of his consciousness in the alien world. Jamila encourages him to keep fighting and promises they’re trying to reach him.
This gives Jamila new hope, and she teams up with Monty to find a way out of the tunnel. They use climbing gear to make a path through the wreckage and reach the other side of the tunnel. But they find the exit locked with explosives as the tunnel is being closed, and the aliens are getting closer.
Luckily, the military hears their cries for help and rescues them just in time. However, Darwin is injured and needs medical attention. The group is safe for now, but it looks like they’ll have to leave Darwin behind to recover as they continue their journey to France.
The episode ends with aliens breaking into the hospital where Caspar is seemingly alone, suggesting that Jamila and her friends face a race against time to save him, as he might be humanity’s last hope for survival.
