In the following sneak peek of Disenchantment Season 5 on Netflix, Queen Dagmar lets Elfo pick the torture tool she uses.
The Season 5 teaser shows Bean’s progress through the seasons, highlighting her “biggest challenge yet.”
The animated series premiered in 2018, chronicling the exploits of Princess Bean, a rough-and-tumble royal pushed into an arranged marriage by her father.
Things become worse when she encounters Elfo and a demon titled Luci. Throughout the series, the three have bonded through several deadly encounters and adventures, even sacrificing their lives to save one another.

In Disenchantment Part 5, Bean must finally defeat her mother, Queen Dagmar, to restore Dreamland, all while fighting a prophecy that claims she will kill someone she loves.
Not only will the three battle Dagmar, but also a headless body, an evil scientist, and even Satan himself. The most dreadful thing they will have to confront is their fate. All four seasons have led up to this point.
Bean’s faithful friend Elfo and her deceitful mother, Queen Dagmar, are featured in the official clip from Disenchantment Part 5.
Dagmar is making Elfo select from various torture devices, probably as a sort of psychological torture, before using them on him to obtain information.
She becomes more frustrated as he seeks more and more answers and demonstrates his difficulty in making a final decision.
Although Elfo is obviously in danger, Bean and Luci will undoubtedly save their helpless buddy, but the three will also face unthinkable hazards as they attempt to preserve the land.
The three have become friends, with an unbreakable friendship that defies death. Bean has endured a perilous voyage and a slew of unsavory prophesies, but with Luci and Elfo by her side, she is sure to triumph once more. It remains to be seen whether her success comes at too high a cost.
Disenchantment’s final season will be made up of ten 30-minute episodes.

Abbi Jacobson as Bean, Eric André as Luci, John DiMaggio as King Zg, Nat Faxon as Elfo, Maurice LaMarche as Odval, Tress MacNeille as Queen Oona and Prince Derek, and Sharon Horgan as Queen Dagmar make up the main cast of Disenchantment.
Billy West as Sorcerio and several of the elves, David Herman as Jerry, Noel Fielding as Stan the Executioner, Richard Ayoade as Alva Gunderson, John DiMaggio as King Zg, and Phil LaMarr as God are among the other notable supporting cast members.
