Not only have we received a remake of the Spanish series, but we’re also getting a full-fledged spin-off with the fan-favorite character, Berlin. A brand new series is going to be focusing exclusively on the fan’s favorite character.
Alex Pina who is the creator of Money Heist, had teased numerous times during different different interviews given at different different places about the possibility of expanding further into characters introduced in the mothership series.
And that clearly indicates that the scope is going to be wider for the characters of that South Korean series.

When Is Berlin Going to Come Up on Netflix?
We have got indications from the statements made by the people associated with Berlin that this spin-off is going to be released most probably on the 29th of December 2023.
That means the spin-off is going to have the year-ending release date and that is definitely going to benefit it in a great way.

What Is Going to Be the Storyline of Berlin?
First of all one thing we are so clear about is that it is going to be focusing on the character which is Berlin which is one of the most favourite characters of the fans from Money Heist. Also known as Andrés de Fonollosa.
Despite his backstory being explored in season 5, we don’t know a lot about Berlin but surely we will get to know that in this series. Including the fact, there are 5 ex-wives, including Tatiana (played by Diana Gómez). He’d described his relationships in the series as the “5 times that he believed in love.”
