In a TikTok video with a heartfelt greeting to his wife, tennis great Serena Williams, 41, and husband Alexis Ohanian announced the arrival of their second child named Adira River Ohanian.
On August 22, the 23-time Grand Slam singles winner announced the birth of her second child with husband Alexis Ohanian in a family TikTok video in which their first-born daughter also appears.
The famous couple announced the birth of a baby girl called Adira River via a video on social media.
When Serena Williams announced her second child’s birth, she wore vivid clothing. The tennis player just donned a dazzling pink Gucci sweatshirt-style garment for the photograph, which included a white zippered collar, drawstring, and GG logo.
Olympia rushes into her mother’s arms to join Williams and Ohanian in an adorable TikTok video set to Bazzi’s 2018 song, “Beautiful,” with the couple seated at a table with a laptop and coffee cup in view.
Williams kisses Olympia on the forehead and then looks at Ohanian as if to say, “I’ll be right back.”She captioned the video, “Welcome my beautiful angel,” followed by Polaroid pictures of the new four-person family. One of those images, which Williams shared on Instagram, revealed that their baby girl’s name is Adira River Ohanian.

The couple can be seen in the footage seated at a table together before their first child, Olympia, age five, joins them.
Williams then takes a little break from the table before coming back with the couple’s newest child.
Before Olympia kisses her new baby sister, the entire family looks at the infant. Williams and Ohanian experienced a beautiful moment, and Ohanian graciously posted the same photo in his post to remember it, calling Williams the greatest Mother of All Time.
The event was also praised in the remarks from the family’s neighborhood, including those from Billie Jean King, Lala Anthony, Arianna Huffington, and even the official Instagram page of the Olympics.
Williams revealed in May that she was expecting her second child. At the Met Gala, she made her baby bulge public alongside Ohanian. Olympia Williams was born in September 2017, only two months before Williams and Ohanian wed in New Orleans.
Williams revealed how they told Olympia she was set to become a big sister only minutes before the rest of the world found out in a video showing how they prepared for the Met Gala.
Since making her announcement, the tennis icon has been eagerly updating her followers online about her second pregnancy. She has even posted a photo of the moment she and Ohanian told their daughter that she was being promoted to big sister.
Williams took a step back from her professional tennis career before making her announcement, saying that while she hasn’t formally retired, she is taking time to focus on her family.
