Recap Of Invasion Season 2 Episode 1
In the Invasion Season 2 Episode 1 titled ‘Something’s Changed,’ things are different after humans fight back against the aliens and send their big spaceship away.
But now, the aliens are even meaner, so the leaders of the world formed a group called the World Defense Coalition (WDC) to fight them together.
The WDC leader, President Benya Mabote, talks to everyone and asks them to stick together and keep fighting.
At the same time, in a place called Osaka, Japan, aliens attack and Mitsuki Yamato helps people escape. But some people from a group called DharmaX take Mitsuki away secretly.
In another part of America, a lady named Aneesha Malik and her two kids, Luke and Sarah, are surviving on their own after their dad died. They do something not good to get food but almost get caught.
Because of this, they have to leave their home and find a new place to live. Aneesha tells Luke he needs to take care of Sarah if something happens to her.
Aneesha decides to go far away with her family where the aliens maybe haven’t gone. Mitsuki goes to the DharmaX place and meets Nikhil Kapoor, a very rich person working with the WDC.
Nikhil tells Mitsuki that they got the aliens’ spaceship after it was destroyed. They want her to talk to the aliens because she’s the only one who talked to them before.
They hope she can help them understand the aliens and stop the fighting. Aneesha and her family get caught by the army, and they meet a guy named Clark Evans, who is against the army.
Even though Mitsuki is not feeling very well emotionally, Nikhil lets her go to the spaceship. She learns that the small alien ships can hide, and that’s why people don’t see them coming.
Nikhil also says the big alien spaceship is not dead and has a lot of power inside. But there’s something guarding the power that scientists can’t understand. Mitsuki has to go to the spaceship and try to talk to this thing to find out what the aliens want.

Invasion Season 2 Episode 1 Ending Explained: Did Mitsuki Discover The Source In The End?
In the last part of the episode, Mitsuki goes into a room on the spaceship to talk to the thing that’s stopping people from getting to the power inside the ship.
Mitsuki knows it’s risky because the thing could hurt her brain and make her really sick. But she’s brave and goes closer to the thing. When she does that, the thing starts to react. Mitsuki tries to talk to it, but it moves away from her.
So, she uses special signals in her communication system to get its attention. It works, and she seems to start talking with it. But something happens – it’s like her talking makes something else happen too.
We don’t see exactly what comes after Mitsuki talks to the thing, but it seems like she somehow gets to the center of the spaceship and something changes there.

What Happens To Luke? And Is Caspar Still Alive?
In the final part of the episode, we learn about what happens to Luke and a character named Caspar. The Malik family gets released by the military because a group called the Movement helps them escape when they are being transported.
Aneesha, Luke’s mom, wants to leave, but Clark from the Movement asks them to join. They go to where the Movement is staying, and Aneesha sees that this group is well-prepared and Clark really wants to help.
Aneesha isn’t sure what to do next, but Luke starts acting strange and has a seizure around the same time Mitsuki talks to the spaceship. Luke was different from others because he didn’t get sick when the aliens came, and he seemed to have a special connection with them.
Also, the alien claw he carried starts showing signs of life. At the end of the episode, we find out that Caspar, who we thought had died saving people, is actually alive but in a coma.
Something changes in Caspar’s situation after Mitsuki does something to the spaceship. The episode suggests that the alien technology Mitsuki and Nikhil are dealing with is causing changes that affect Luke and Caspar.
