Riley Keough ate a granola bar containing peanuts before a kissing scene with Andrew Garfield, which unintentionally led to the cancellation of a project she was working on.

The “Spiderman” actor, with whom she co-starred in 2018’s “Under the Silver Lake,” said she was unaware of his peanut allergy and that the circumstance was “actually very stressful.”

Riley brought something to the set during production that may have put her co-star at grave risk. However, one memory from the set has remained with her all these years. “It was very stressful,” Keough began. She claimed that at one point, she was getting ready for a scene where she would have to kiss Garfield while eating a granola bar in the makeup trailer.

The makeup artist then inquired if Keough’s snack had peanuts. The makeup artist ‘ran away’ when Keough stated she believed there were peanuts in the bar but subsequently returned with the film’s producer.
