At first glance, the show’s creator Jack Lothian builds up a thrilling momentum by allowing her to portray the finest versions of her personality in two different universes.
The magnificent surroundings of Barcelona become the centerpiece of the show’s story, as Ahmad’s eponymous character expresses her love for it.
However, not everything that glitters is gold, and Carter soon finds herself and her kid in trouble on one of her regular grocery store visits.
Erin decides to take charge of the situation after spotting many masked thieves kidnapping the owner of the supermarket. She brutally injures the wicked intruders at work.
Well-kept truths from her former life emerge as numerous parties get interested in her, fascinated by her ability to manage herself.
Though she insists they’ve all misidentified her, she can’t keep things buried any longer. Her family’s and everyday life become uncontrollable as they question her intentions.
And, no matter how often she convinces others that she’s simply a schoolteacher, everyone knows that the past has a tendency to come up with us, and hers has just done so.
