What To Expect From Castlevania: Nocturne?

Castlevania: Nocturne, much like its predecessor, draws inspiration from the iconic Konami games that revolutionized Nintendo’s popularity.

The spinoff will be based on two games, Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Set during the French Revolution in 1792, the series follows Richter Belmont, a descendant of Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades, who embraces his family legacy as a vampire hunter wielding the renowned Vampire-Killer weapon.

Though an official plot synopsis is yet to be released, following Castlevania lore, Richter starts as a hero in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, defeating Dracula with the help of teenage girl Maria Renard and Alucard, the immortal son of Dracula.

However, in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Richter falls under the influence of Shaft, a servant of Dracula, and becomes a pawn in his resurrection scheme. Alucard and Maria join forces to save Richter and defeat Dracula once more.

Richter grapples with guilt but eventually regains his strength to aid his friends in vanquishing more of Dracula’s followers. The animated series promises an enthralling narrative that explores the depths of heroism, darkness, and redemption within the timeless Castlevania universe.
