Francis Lawrence has directed the upcoming American dystopian science fiction action thriller movie that is the fifth film of The Hunger Games film series and is adapted from Suzanne Collins’ novel 2020- ‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’.

The plot is set sixty-four years before the incidents of the first movie and follows a young mentor named Coriolanus “Coryo” Snow and a tribute named Lucy Gray Baird as well as how he becomes a tyrannical leader.

Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler portray Coriolanus and Lucy respectively in the movie. It is set to be released on November 17, 2023.
