Naomi Osaka, a professional tennis player, and Grammy-nominated rapper Cordae, welcomed their first kid together, and She is currently debuting on social media.
The 25-year-old tennis pro and her partner Cordae had their first child together earlier this week; a baby girl, it was revealed earlier this week. On Thursday, July 13, Naomi posted her daughter’s gorgeous first photo to Instagram.
Naomi tweeted a picture of her daughter wearing a zip-up onesie embellished with pink and green tennis rackets and tennis balls, albeit the baby’s face isn’t visible.
The same adorable picture was included in a photo dump Naomi posted on Instagram, but this time it was joined by more private images, including Naomi holding her growing baby bulge and pictures of her hospital stay.
Osaka looked at the infant before starting the photo slide display. The infant girl’s face wasn’t visible, but her gorgeous dress was. The infant wore a zip-up onesie revealing her tiny arms and toes.
The outfit was tastefully embellished with pink and green tennis rackets and little green tennis balls. She also tweeted a picture of herself at an outside breakfast with pink nylon ‘MOM’ balloons right after giving birth.

Although Naomi and Cordae haven’t revealed their daughter’s name to the world yet, they indicated that it wouldn’t be expected.
“We have been discussing terms. I would say we are going for something more unique than traditional,” Naomi formerly exchanged.
In the comments section of her Instagram post, her followers showered her with congratulations, with one person writing, “Congrats, Mama! So so happy for you!” Even actress Gabrielle Union had to remark on the picture with many red heart emojis to show her support for the new mother.
Photos of Osaka while she was still pregnant, and a picture of her in the hospital just before giving birth were also included in the article. The four-time Grand Slam singles winner also posted photos of a lovely outdoor breakfast she had after the baby was born, complete with pink balloons.
The name of their newborn baby, Shai, was revealed by Cordae last weekend during a live performance at Canada’s Calgary Stampede. The 25-year-old rapper addressed the crowd, “I dedicate this performance to my baby girl Shai. She just had a baby girl a couple of days ago.
The athlete, who started dating Cordae in 2019, revealed her pregnancy to her followers for the first time in January by posting a picture of her ultrasound and a lengthy statement.
Before declaring her intention to play tennis again at the Australian Open in January 2024, Osaka said that “2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me,” based on her most recent post, it appears like she’ll be returning to the court soon.
