OnePlus’ First Foldable Phone: Design, Speculations, Features, And More!

After months of speculation, OnePlus has revealed that it is ready to enter the foldable market, with its first folding phone set to launch this year.

According to reports, the company may already be working on two devices, but we anticipate only one coming in 2023, most likely a bigger book-style folding phone.

OnePlus has officially revealed that the OnePlus foldable, named the OnePlus Open, will be available this year. It is scheduled to be launched in August, according to rumors.

Because it is a horizontally folding device with premium hardware, we should anticipate it to cost between $1,500 and $1,800, exactly like the Galaxy Z Folds and Pixel Folds of the world.

The OnePlus Fold is expected to ship with a 4,800 mAh battery and 67W charging capabilities, less than the 5,000 mAh battery in the OnePlus 11. One Plus’ First Foldable Phone Specifications

The outward-facing display is also rumored to include a 20MP selfie camera positioned behind a punch-hole cutout in the center.

The main 7.8″ LTPO AMOLED display will most likely have a resolution of 1,900 x 2,100px and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is anticipated to be the chipset of choice, with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

The OnePlus Fold is likely to have a 50MP primary camera and a 48MP ultrawide sensor, which are the same sensors available on the OnePlus 11.
