Since its debut two decades ago, Wolverine aka Hugh Jackman has made his movie appearance nine more times and fans have shown their love for it every time, but it seems like it’s getting too much now.
Back in 2017, after the release of the movie Logan, Hugh Jackman officially announced his retirement and said that he will never be seen again in the role of Wolverine, but the retirement was short-lived as he came back in Deadpool 2 the very next year.

Most of the fans were happy with the way things ended with Wolverine but last year Jackman hinted about his return and fans had mixed feelings about it, Marvel fans were infuriated when Ryan Reynolds confirmed that Wolverine will be part of Deadpool 3, fans felt that Wolverine’s death in the movie Logan was a perfect ending and fans don’t want to see it go in vain.
But unfortunately, the damage was already done and the news was confirmed when the Deadpool 3 teaser was released. Now, James Mangold, who is the director of the movie Logan, recently gave an interview to Variety, where he admitted that he isn’t too happy about Wolverine’s return.
He later admitted that he knew Wolverine will be back sometime in the future in a different way but his dissent with the current return was visible.
On the other hand, Hugh Jackman has been receiving a lot of appreciation for putting in the work for his upcoming role. Only time will tell how fans would react to the return of one of the most iconic characters in the history of cinema.
