David Fincher has directed the upcoming American neo-noir movie ‘The Killer’ which is adapted from Alexis Nolent’s same-named French graphic novel series.

The plot revolves around a murderer who is characterized as solitary, methodical, cold, and unperturbed by any regret or scruple. But this time as he awaits his next target from the shadows, he understands that he is gradually losing his mind.

David Fincher was announced to be directing this movie in November of 2007. The Killer was taken to Netflix in February 2021. Andrew Kevin Walker wrote the script for the movie based on the same-named comic book.

Ceán Chaffin, Dede Gardner, and Brad Pitt serve as producers for the upcoming film along with Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment. Principal photography of the movie began in Paris in early November of 2021.

Filming was wrapped up on March 28, 2022. The release date of the movie was revealed on January 18, 2023, in a preview of Netflix’s 2023 film slate that was uploaded on YouTube. The movie is set to be released on Netflix on 10th November this year.
