In Expend4bles, a new generation of stars joins the world’s greatest action stars for an adrenaline-fueled adventure. The first trailer for Expendables 4 (or Expend4bles if you prefer) has just been released, bringing back our favorite veteran action heroes for another round of old-school printmaking.

Expend4bles’ official trailer provides a look into the high-stakes world of Expendables. The trailer begins with Jason Statham and Megan Fox arguing over a file, implying a complicated relationship and possible conflict.
The Expendables are quickly called aboard a gigantic ship to avert a nuclear disaster, with Statham at the helm. A hidden gem in the film indicates that Iko Uwais from The Raid franchise will square off against Statham and his gang, promising tremendous battles and epic showdowns.
The story revolves around a plan that forces the Expendables into a situation that might spark a nuclear war between Russia and the United States. Statham’s character, Lee Christmas, is the primary role this time.
The Expendables 4 teaser suggests that the franchise is reducing its emphasis considerably. Aside from the more character-driven opening sequence, the entire mission is more uncomplicated and straightforward, involving a submarine loaded with nuclear weapons.
EXPEND4BLES (2023) Cast members
The Expendables franchise has always been a tribute to vintage action films from the 1980s and 1990s, with an ensemble cast. The fourth installment will be no exception. Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture will reprise their roles as the leader of the quartet of mercenaries from the previous three films in The Expendables 4.
Stallone reprises his role as Barney Ross, the commander of The Expendables who accepts government tasks. He is a skilled pilot who enjoys surprising his prey with his signature weapon, a revolver.
Statham will return as Lee Christmas, a former SAS member and Barney’s best buddy, who can be trusted with any dangerous operation. Lee is the team’s knife master, capable of using blades with great speed and accuracy, which is useful when killing targets.
Lundgren will reprise his role as Gunner Jensen, a heavy weapons specialist and vital member of The Expendables. Barney earlier dismissed him due to mental instability but eventually returned to the squad as an essential member.
Couture reprises his role as Toll Road, the Expendables’ demolitions specialist.
