Lewis Capaldi Postpones All Shows Until June 24 to Recover.

Lewis Capaldi has informed his fans that he is pausing his tour schedule and taking time to recover to protect his mental health.

Lewis Capaldi announced on social media that he would take a three-week break from touring and performing. Up to his Glastonbury Festival appearance on June 24, the Scottish pop singer said he would “cancel all commitments” to put his mental health first.

On Monday, the Scottish singer-songwriter informed his followers via a message posted on his verified Instagram profile that he is postponing all previously booked appearances until his June 24 appearance at the Glastonbury Festival in England.

It has been such a fantastic period building up to this new record, and witnessing all of the support from everyone has been beyond anything I could have ever imagined, he added.

The “Someone You Loved” singer apologized to his fans, who may have been negatively affected financially by the postponement of his future performances.

He said he feels “fortunate” that people were prepared to travel far and wide to see him. Capaldi stated in February that he has Tourette’s Syndrome, a neurological condition that results in uncontrollable noises and motions.

He said that he suffers from the issue “all the time.”Before gracing the stage at Glastonbury in late June, Capaldi was slated to play in several performances throughout the UK.

Then, in an apology to fans who had already spent money on lodging and travel, he said, “The fact that you’re willing to come out and spend your time, money, and love on these shows is beyond comprehension, and I feel fortunate.

“Capaldi stated that he intends to spend the upcoming three weeks acting as “Lewis from Glasgow for a bit,” hanging out with friends and family, and doing “normal life things that are an important part of me feeling better.”
