David Langer, head of neurosurgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, addresses the significant changes in medical settings brought on by the pandemic, even though the medical cases portrayed occurred after the lockdown.

What happens at the end of “Emergency: NYC” episode 8?
At Lenox Hill Hospital, David Langer carried out a complicated cerebral operation in the seventh episode. However, the sufferer did not awaken.
Now that the patient is still recovering from the horrific event, “Emergency: NYC” may disclose some information about him in the final episode. David attempted to wake Lisa up from the outset, but she didn’t react to his words, and the doctors couldn’t tell if Lisa’s bodily movements had changed.
Lisa was now entirely secure and experiencing no issues. However, both Lisa’s body and intellect were now sluggish from exhaustion. Lisa was given a second scan to check the condition of her skull.
Fortunately, Lisa was recovering well, and since her scans revealed no evidence of a stroke, physicians were now waiting for Lisa to restore awareness.
Her brain was worn out from the operation, and the doctors realized it required more time to recover. Everyone knew that David was an excellent doctor and would never perform surgery incorrectly.

When the story ended, did Lisa regain consciousness?
When Lisa awoke from her slumber and started to talk, it was evident that the procedure had gone smoothly. Although it took time for Lisa’s brain to regain her recollections, she had no trouble telling the difference between colors or numerals.
Lisa could see this again, which delighted Dr. David with her development. The procedure did not impact Lisa’s ability to think clearly or communicate, as she could without mental effort. The left eye’s vision was expected, but the right eye required additional medicine and exercise.
Her right eye had some vision, the doctors John and David observed, and they were confident that she would ultimately regain complete functionality. The right eye’s nerves were more constricted than the left eye.
Lisa had already given up hope and was grateful to have Dr. David. Her vision returning was not what she had anticipated, but David had made it possible. Lisa knew it was the correct move to put her confidence in David.
In addition, Lisa had to spend three more weeks at the rehab facility to work on her eyesight and other brain functions.
