Steven Knight has developed this upcoming period drama ‘Great Expectations’ based on Charles Dickens’ same-named novel which will star Fionn Whitehead as Pip, Olivia Colman as Miss Havisham, and Shalom Brune-Franklin as Estella. The series is scheduled to be released on March 26, 2023.

The second season took as its primary protagonists the eldest Bridgerton son and child Anthony and an Indian spinster Kate Sharma. The series premiered on December 25, 2020, on Netflix.

This Spanish romantic drama series is adapted from María Dueñas’ same-named novel. The plot centers upon a man named Mauro Larrea and a combative widow Soledad Montalvo as the former begins working to restore a vineyard that once upon a time was owned by the latter.
Leonor Watling and Rafael Novoa portrayed Soledad Montalvo and Mauro Larrea respectively in the series. It premiered on 26th March 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.

This Spanish historical drama series is adapted from the novel ‘La catedral del mar‘ written by Ildefonso Falcones.
The plot finds a serf who begins to climb the ladder of wealth and as a consequence that of freedom which leads to the disdain of people of the noble class as well as the Inquisition’s suspicion.
Spanish actor Daniel Grao portrayed the humble farmer Bernat Estanyol in the series. It ran from 23rd May to 18th July 2018.

This historical drama miniseries is adapted from William Makepeace Thackeray’s renowned same-named novel of 1848. The story is set against the Napoleonic Wars and the years following Napoleon’s defeat.
The plot revolves around a poverty-stricken woman named Becky Sharp who wants to get out of her disadvantageous position by any means be it manipulation or forbidden romances.
As she paves her way through these with little regard for their consequences, she finds herself in the court of King George IV with a broken heart and lost fortune.
Olivia Cooke who is recently in the limelight for portraying Queen Alicent Hightower in HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon’, played the protagonist Becky Sharp in the series. It ran from 2nd September to 7th October 2018.
