Meghan Markle: Vanity Fair, an entertainment magazine of the United States, recently published an article citing the interest of Meghan Markle to run for the post of president.

On Thursday, the magazine put an article in its entertainment section citing that a close source to the duchess said that if she did not have the prestige title of a duchess then she would have contested for the presidential elections of United States.

Katie Nicholl, a member of Vanity Fair got to know from a close friend of Meghan that one of the reasons why she did not want to give up on her American citizenship was that she has a desire and a choice of entering politics.

The friend also mentioned that according to her if Harry and Meghan ever decide to give up on the title they are bearing right now, she will definitely consider running for president.

After the report was made public by the magazine, certain Twitter users have tweeted about the rumor of Meghan running for president in the future. However, the official representatives of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not responded to the rumor yet.

However, the public might demand a comment on the same soon. This news becomes even more believable when we try to observe the requirements for being president of the United States.

Can Meghan Markle Run the President of the US?

Hypothetically, Meghan could be a candidate running for president in the future. She is 39 in age and the minimum requirement for being a president is 35 years. Also, she is a natural-born US citizen. Further, she also fulfills the requirement of living in the US for a minimum of 14 years.

Hence, she perfectly matches all the conditions that are required for the post of president. However, these conditions are imaginary as there is no confirmation about the idea of running for president by Meghan.

Recently, Harry and Meghan also appeared publically and motivated the public to cast their valuable vote in the upcoming elections. The couple also announced nine months ago that they will step down from their duties. Further, Meghan does not perform any charity in the name of the Queen.
