As seen in “Dear David,” there is almost always a lot of guilt associated with what women want or do, but males are not subject to the same scrutiny. It is the tale of a lady who, standing up for herself and those around her, discovers that she has nothing to apologize for.
Although “Dear David” is quite an endearing tale, it might have been cut down by at least 30 minutes. The actresses’ severe lack of charm bothered us, perhaps except for Caitlin North Lewis, who played Dilla.

The film, written by Winnie Benjamin, Daud Sumolang, and Muhammad Zaidy and directed by Lucky Kuswandi, is about a student and her path toward self-acceptance. The producers are Muhammad Zaidy and Meiske Taurisia.
The movie tells an age-old tale of unrequited love using the traditional format. A common emotion that almost everyone experiences at some point throughout their lives.
For some, the scenario might be too well-known, but the film nevertheless gives the story its unique spin. Even though you know what will happen in the end, the film feels new by adding components that make it feel current in today’s online society.
The three actors that play the main characters do a fantastic job, and they truly make the film what it is.

Dear David Ending Explanation
While they were away, David and Laras started to get back in touch. Unfortunately, David had a panic attack in the jungle and began hyperventilating. Then he said his father was unaware that he had been struggling with the problem for a long time.
His mother leaving him and his father was the primary cause of the trauma. Laras comforted him and claimed she could relate to his feelings since she, too, had lost her father when she was a tiny child.
To calm him down, she began to narrate a tale in which the protagonists resembled both David and her. As they got to know one another better, they fell in love again.
David split with Dila when he got home after the trip. He left his phone in Dila’s room, though, and she could read all the texts from Laras proving that she was the author of the bogus “Dear David” tales.
She and David got into a furious quarrel after she questioned him about it. The next day, she revealed the truth to the school’s principal and gave her proof of Laras’ guilt.
As a result, she began to be ridiculed and bullied by the whole school. After the shocking discovery, she was shunned even by her church’s congregation. Nevertheless, David could be seen walking with her at all times.
Laras tried her best to apologize to Dila for her selfish actions. During the chat, Dila admits that she has been in love with Laras for a very long time. She resisted confessing earlier out of concern that Laras would reject her. But Laras reassured her that despite being a lesbian, she would remain her friend
