It was all the way back in 2005 when the couple was introduced for the first time. Vanessa and Austin met at the sets of Disney channel’s High School Musical show. Reports suggest that they were introduced by none other than Vanessa’s co-star in High School Musical and best friend Ashley Tisdale.

But, nothing date-type happened between the two as Vanessa was already dating Zac Efron at that time. Both of them dated for around 5 years, from 2005-2010.
