Chris Pratt Stung in the Eye After He Pokes Beehive

The Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt miscalculates his capabilities yet again and salutes (and condemns) the beekeeper influencer in the latest Instagram Post.

Stingers are common in Marvel films, however, they normally appear after the credits. This time, Chris Pratt, star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s Guardians of the Galaxy sub-franchise, posted to Instagram late Thursday to describe his recent experience with a pugilistic bee.

Chris Pratt claimed on Instagram on Thursday that he got stung in the eye by a bee after being inspired on social media by a beekeeper.

“So I’ve been following this bee woman on Instagram, she’s so cool and fearless and she gets in front of these colonies of bees and says, ‘They’re quite peaceful today. “I’m going to extract the bee, and I’m going to sift through the bees and seek for the queen with my bare hands,” the “Jurassic World” star stated in the video while wearing sunglasses.”

So that gave me a false feeling of security to the point where I thought, ‘I think I can manage bees, too,'” the 43-year-old went on.

Here Is What Happened with Chris Pratt.

On Tuesday, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star claimed he “saw a beehive” and decided it was his time to shine.

“I approached it, and the man next to me warned, ‘Be cautious, there are bees,’ and I answered, ‘These bees look really peaceful,'” he said.

“And I just gazed at these bees, and then one of them came out and stung me in the eyeball,” Pratt explained as he removed his spectacles to expose his injured eye. “In any case, f—k that bee woman.”

He named Thompson in his caption, writing, “@texasbeeworks you inspire me!” But in reality…”

Thompson, apparently keeping an eye on Pratt’s resumé of upcoming jobs, said, “Wait—so now you’re going to be a plumber and a beekeeper @prattpratt?! You may focus on preserving the Princess if you leave the bees to me and other specialists.”

Pom Klementieff, Pratt’s Guardians co-star, also commented in the comments with a “Noooooooo” and an “ouch.” Patrick Schwarzenegger tweeted “Lmao,” while UFC president Dana White tweeted “LMFAO!!!!” Jeanne Tripplehorn, Pratt’s The Terminal List co-star, was more considerate with an “OH NO” (with bee emoji), while Sean Hayes added a sting by asking, “which eye?”

This isn’t the first time the Marvel star has underestimated his powers.

Back in June, the actor admitted that he tried to bury himself alive for a joke while filming “The Terminal List.”

“I s-t my pants — that’s how serious I was,” Pratt revealed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

The actor stated that he thought it would be amusing to pretend to be stuck in the soil, but things went wrong when he found he “really couldn’t move,” resulting in the disaster.
