The television series titled ‘My Love from the Star’, written by Park Ji-eun and directed by Jang Tae-yoo was aired from December 18, 2013, to February 27, 2014, on SBS.

It is one of Kim Soo Hyun’s most famous dramas. The drama had Jun Ji-hyun, Kim Soo-hyun, Park Hae-jin, Yoo In-na, Shin Sung-rok, and Ahn Jae-hyun as its lead characters.

It depicts the story of an alien from another planet who arrived on Earth in 1609 during the Joseon Dynasty and falls in love with a prominent female actress 400 years later. The television series has 21 episodes in total.

The South Korean television series ‘It’s Ok to Not Be Okay’ was aired on tvN from June 20, 2020, to August 9, 2020. It was also available on Netflix. The drama is a narrative about a man working in a mental health unit and a woman who is a well-known children’s book author.

The drama centers on Moon Kang Tae, a community health worker at a mental health facility who has no time for romance, and Go Moon Young, a popular children’s book author with antisocial tendencies who seems to have never experienced love.

Following their introduction, the two gradually start to help and heal each other their emotional wounds. Written by and directed by Jo Yong and Park Shin-woo respectively, the drama casts Kim Soo-hyun, Seo Ye-ji, Oh Jung-se, and Park Gyu-young as its main characters. It has 16 episodes in total.

Moon Embracing the Sun

One of the famous television series of Kim Soo Hyun, ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’ was aired from January 4 to March 15, 2012, on MBC. The drama starred Kim Soo-hyun, Han Ga-in, Jung Il-woo, and Kim Min-seo as its lead characters. It has been adapted from the novel of the same name written by Jung Eun-gwol.

The television series is an emotional love tale between a fictitious Joseon Dynasty king and a female shaman, along with the tensions and plots of competing political forces. It has a total of 20 episodes.
