The synopsis provides a good indication of what to expect from You People, the next romantic comedy. Neither the writers nor the cast has revealed too many plot details, but that’s the most incredible way to approach romantic comedies since you need to walk in with an open heart and mind and see what happens, and that’s precisely what You People will do.
However, given the tendency, we will discover more about the narrative closer to the release date.
You People deals with the exciting subject of interracial relationships, and while they appear sweet and easy on paper, they may be far more challenging to manage in reality.
When people of various races are in love and decide to marry, cultural differences, customs, foods, festivals, and many other variables come into play.

Hill’s character takes his possible in-laws to Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles for a luxurious breakfast/lunch/brunch to convince them that he’ll be a decent husband to their daughter.
Unfortunately, Hill appears nervous speaking with them, and his efforts don’t convince Murphy’s character and his wife (Nia Long). The scenario makes it apparent that Hill has a long road ahead if he wants the dedication and love of his life’s parents.
