Mariah Carey Sings Duet with Daughter Monroe at Canadian Christmas Concert

Published by

Thank you so much to all of the Canadian supporters and lambs that came out to my gig last night to celebrate with me!!! “Merry Christmas to All,” said Mariah Carey, 52, on Saturday, December 10 Instagram.

While sporting similar white ballgowns and glittering tiaras, she gave Monroe, whose father is Nick Cannon, a tender kiss in the first picture. At the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, the “Fantasy” singer performed the duet as part of his Merry Christmas to All performance.

In social media footage, Mariah Carey and her daughter can be heard singing the hymn “Away in a Manger,” with supporters praising the little singer’s ability.

Monroe and their twin brother Moroccan used to sing “Always Be My Baby” with their mother during a Las Vegas residency when they were only beginning primary school. Still, this performance more amply showcases Monroe’s vocal prowess.

Mariah Carey recently reassured her admirers that she had passed on her musical abilities. In an interview with E! News on Tuesday, December 6, she said, “Honestly, their tone when they sing is so wonderful, and I’m so glad that they received it from me.

Her young children recently danced on platforms behind the “All I Want for Christmas” singer during her appearance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They asked to dance throughout her performance, according to Carey.

Mariah said they come up, go to rehearsals, and really get into it when they want to be engaged and think it will be enjoyable. “Watching them relate to their other friends, many aspiring singers or dancers who weren’t born into the entertainment scene is a delight to see when they’re involved.”

Carey thinks that by demonstrating to Monroe and Moroccan how diligently she works, she will significantly influence their work habits. Because I grew up without that opportunity, she continued, “I believe kids must acquire these skills, and they need to realize that it’s important to strive your hardest and do your best.”

“Watching children shine is one of my greatest privileges.” She strikes a balance between imparting valuable life lessons and indulging kids at Christmas. The Grammy Award winner recently said that the Christmas season was never a joyful time for her growing up, but now she loves it.

“When you had a chaotic upbringing and then go through this change that enables you to create the life you desire? Carey said in a feature in W magazine this month, “That is a pleasure for me.

“For this reason, I want my children to enjoy the best possible lives. I want children to realize that they can become whatever they set their minds to.
