Samurai Maiden is a fast-paced action RPG in development by Shade and D3PUBLISHER. The storyline follows Tsumugi Tamaori, who finds herself in the Sengoku era.

She must defend herself against Nobunaga Oda and his army of angry dead. The game has been announced for PC, PS4, and PS5 and will be released in December.

On December 8, 2022, Samurai Maiden will be released on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Story of Samurai Maiden

Samurai Maiden tells the narrative of a teenager who falls asleep after a tiresome day of history classes and wakes up beside Nobunaga Oda, considered Japan’s first great unifier.

The two end up in the burning Honnoji Temple, where the underworld has broken free. Tsumugi, who had trained in the art of sword combat as a hobby, is abruptly put to the test in actual battle when the desperate Nobunaga Oda, who ventures into the underworld to halt the tragedy, gives her the evil warding blade.

However, even Tsumugi, an admittedly weak history student, sees Oda as the Sengoku era hero and realizes she must rise to the challenge.

A young woman from the twenty-first century with exceptional swordsmanship finds herself in Honnoji during the Sengoku era! She runs through the Underworld under Honnoji with a group of newfound ninja companions, encountering angry corpses at every step!

However, nothing can stand in the way of this all-female great team, as the young lady-turned-samurai cuts enemies while the ninja takes them out with their deadly ninjutsu!

When things become rough, use the Devoted Heart method to make samurai and ninjas lock lips to boost their powers! There are so many thrilling, epic battles to participate in! Slay the Sengoku period’s Demon Lord and form eternal relationships with your ninja allies!

Samurai Maiden Gameplay Trailer 

D3 Publisher has published a 10-minute gameplay video for Samurai Maiden, an anime hack ‘n’ slash adventure. Shade’s action-packed story of swords and magic will be released in early December for PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Despite the character’s cheesiness, Samurai Maiden looks excellent. The super-colorful settings, the crazy-creepy creature design, and the slick-looking fighting all contribute to the game’s greatness.

The visual effects are also to be noticed. The action flows swiftly and precisely, and it is a delightful, low-key way to spend a quiet weekend, even if you have to scoff at the game’s “kiss other females to boost up” concept.

The game will also have three ninjas: the hardworking Iyo, the aging Hagane with a robotic body, and the brilliant Komimi, known as The Gogake. Tsumugi’s sword technique and The Gokage’s ninjutsu will be combined swiftly in the “Gokage System.” There will also be special powers that may be unlocked.
