(G)I-DLE’s Yuqi was taken to the Hospital for Health Issues.

Yuqi, a member of the South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE, was taken to the hospital after she faced a health issue. Along with being a member of (G)I-DLE, Yuqi is an active soloist in China. She is a Chinese dancer, singer, songwriter, and record producer.

On November 20, the incident took place when due to health issues Yuqi was rushed to the hospital. Taking into consideration her health which is not good at present, she will not be taking part in any of the group activities for some time.

A fan video call event was set to happen on that day but due to the unfortunate incident, she will not be involving herself in that activity.

The agency, Cube Entertainment has also passed an official statement regarding Yuqi’s Health Issue, which is as follows:

Yuqi, a member of (G)I-DLE, was taken to the hospital early this morning (November 20) after her health began to deteriorate. She has been given a medical diagnosis and is currently resting.

As a result of this Yuqi will inevitably be unable to participate in today’s scheduled Star River video call event.

We kindly ask Neverland [(G)IDLE’s-fans] for their understanding as we will let you know separately through the record retailer once the timetable for which member Yuqi is available has been confirmed.

We sincerely apologize for causing fans to worry by sharing this unexpected news, and we will keep working tirelessly to ensure our artist’s health and safety.

Apart from being a singer, Yuqi was also the main host of the Kakao TV reality show “Learn Way” (2020-2021).

The song was chosen by Baidu and the Listening Foundation to serve as the ambassador for the 2021 International Day of the Deaf. Song became one of the most sought-after brand ambassadors among young customers in 2021 due to her exceptional performance abilities.

Cube Entertainment announced on May 6, 2021, that Song would make his solo debut on May 13, with the release of the single album “A Page,” which has the main singles “Giant” and “Bonnie & Clyde.” Song took part in the “Salute to the Heroes” performance for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games on October 27.
