What This Fool Is All About?

The oddly satisfying sitcom, This Fool is about Julio Lopez, a 30-year-old guy. Julio works at Hugs Not Thugs which is a non-profit organization of retired gangsters. He still lives with his mother, Esperanza, and grandma, Maria.

He is dating his high-school girlfriend, Maggie. While working at Hugs Not Thugs, Julio encounters his older cousin, Luis. Luis comes and stays at Julio’s house. Luis is very thuggy while Julio is not thuggy at all.

The story goes on as Julio tries to dodge problems in his life while Luis creates problems out of nowhere. The duo leaves no chance of making us all laugh with their stupid yet cute actions.

Julio is a character that is strong on the outside and a child on the inside. He is so afraid of confrontation that when a gang of thugs stands at his home’s entry gate, he decides to destroy his lawn in order to take his car out rather than ask them to move on.

This Fool is created by Chris Estrada who is also the lead in it. He has mentioned that this show is created by taking inspiration from his own life. Even when Hulu is coming out with big-budget content like the new season of How I Met Your Father, This Fool has made its mark on the platform.

What can we expect from This Fool Season 2?

The only news that has been out regarding This Fool season 2 is its renewal. As season 1 was released on August 22, it is a little early to expect anything from the makers. Although, the one thing we are sure about in season 2 is Julio, Julio, and more of Julio.
