Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Review, and Killmonger Returns

Published by

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released on 11th November 2022, and here is an honest review of the movie. Many movies have been released this year but some of them remain the most anticipated because of their plots or casting. If we talk about casting then great names make great films if it goes well with a great script.

Some of the movies are sequel and falls under the theme of superhero. If we talk about superhero films then one of the best that was released this year is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The main question that lies in the film is who is going to be the new Black Panther after the death of Chadwick Boseman.

The death of the leading character of Black Panther portrayed by Chadwick Boseman happened in 2020 which changed the whole course of the film. When the leading character Black Panther died in the First Act of the movie his whole family was left devastated. In the process when their family was coping with the loss of their protector, Namor arose as a new Black Panther.

It was very obvious through Marvel Comics that Shuri stepped into the role of a Black Panther. And that’s the reason why when the sequel arrived her journey of becoming a new Black Panther came in the focus. Her grief of losing a brother and mother was always there but the only thing that can overcome it is her being a Black Panther.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Review

In the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Shuri recreates a heart-shaped herb to save her brother. But the whole crop was burnt by the Killmonger in the first film. The only thing that she can grant is to give strength to the Panther but due to its burning out it was impossible to recreate it.

After that Shuri crosses the path of Namor and things started falling into the place. Namor has given Shuri a bracelet that was made with the branches of a plant. She uses the plant as a way to recreate the herb.

Shuri then drinks the essence of the herb and takes it to the ancestral plane. When she was not able to see her family she came face to face with the Killmonger. Killmonger was seen taunting her and called a Black Panther too noble.

After all these things she becomes the Black Panther and completed her look with an updated suit. She then gets the chance to end Namor in a brutal face-off. But in the end, she became merciful and never give a chance for revenge to take over her. She protected the people of Namor.
