Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Trailer Out, and Everything you need to know

Published by

The long-awaited Marvel film ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ finally got its first official trailer on Monday, and it gives us a clearer look at the enigmatic new Black Panther. The almost 2-minute-long clip provides viewers with a closer look at a new underwater kingdom governed by Namor, who, like in the Marvel books, can fly with his winged feet.

The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever teaser has been published, promising an action-packed adventure with some huge shocks. The film returns us to the kingdom of Wakanda, as a new danger emerges from the underwater nation of Talokan. The film chronicles what occurs after King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) dies.

The teaser shows Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (featuring Florence Kasumba) banding together to preserve Wakanda from a devastating conflict. The trailer also provides a better look at Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, who looks to be one of the film’s primary adversaries.

Fans also get a look at the new Black Panther outfit as a new hero, probably Letitia Wright’s Shuri takes over after T’Challa.

Furthermore, there is a quick glimpse of Dominique Thorne in the new Iron Man-style armor, implying that Ironheart will play a significant part in this film. Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart also appears in the teaser, where she can be seen building her iron armor and taking off while yelling, “let’s go!”

According to sources, Wakanda Forever would feature Williams, an MIT student on a mission to create an Iron Suit that rivals the one worn by Iron Man.

The teaser concludes with a view of the new Black Panther outfit, which does not show who is wearing it, although it might be Shuri, Nakia, or maybe Okoye.

‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is director Ryan Coogler’s follow-up to his 2018 film, which became a cultural touchstone and received an Oscar nomination for best picture.

He developed a sequel for ‘Panther star Chadwick Boseman, but the actor died of colon cancer in 2020. So the filmmaker set to work figuring out how to go on while paying tribute to Boseman’s legacy.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed at this year’s Comic-Con that ‘Wakanda Forever’ will mark the end of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livinalli also appear in the film. Ryan Coogler returns to helm the film, which he also co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole. According to the new teaser, the Black Panther sequel has all the essential features to thrill fans while also expressing an emotional farewell to late star Chadwick Boseman.
